The Reserve Bank of India has allowed foreign institutional investors and registered foreign portfolio investors to invest up to 35 per cent of the paid-up capital of Titan Company under the portfolio investment scheme. At the end of September, FII holding in the company stood at 21.07 per cent. The RBI has further advised that the shareholding of FIIs/RFPIs in Titan Company has gone below the revised threshold limit.
