Tata Power on Friday informed the exchanges that Poolavadi Windfarm, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has signed definitive agreements for sale of 50 MW solar power under the captive structure. The power will be supplied through open access under a long-term power purchase agreement. The parties are currently in the process of meeting various pre-requisites as defined in the agreements in developing the project. Shares of Tata Power closed 2.08 per cent lower at ₹70.65 on the BSE.
