Suzlon Energy on Monday said that it has completed the sale of Tornado Solar Farms to CLP Wind Farms (India). The company has received ₹32.49 crore (in two tranches) from the deal. In a separate notice, Suzlon said that its promoters — Tanti Holdings Private Ltd and Jitendra R Tanti — have released 2.06 crore pledged shares (or 0.39 per cent of its total paid-up capital). However, still 80.77 crore shares (or 15.18 per cent stake) are pledged with financiers.
