Call rates unchanged

The inter-bank call rates closed at 6.75-6.85 per cent, unchanged from the previous close. In the first one-day auction under the liquidity adjustment facility, the Reserve Bank of India received and accepted 22 repo bids for Rs 25,620 crore. There were no reverse repo bids. In the second auction, the RBI received and accepted 29 repo bids for Rs 34,505 crore and two reverse repo bids for Rs 535 crore. In the CBLO auction there were 525 trades amounting to Rs 54,408.90 crore in the rate range of 6.4-6.5 per cent. —
