The Government has appointed SS Mundra, currently Chairman & Managing Director of Bank of Baroda, as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India.
The fourth Deputy Governor's position has been vacant since April when KC Chakraborty demitted office.
Incidentally, Mundra superannuates on Thursday as BoB chief.
Following Mundra's appointment, RBI now has four Deputy Governors.
