A delegation of All India Peerless Employees' Union today appraised the State government of the potential loss of livelihood for nearly 50,000 field staff and others “following closure of RNBC business” of Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Ltd, as per RBI guidelines from April 1, 2011.
According to a press release issued by the union, the State Labour Minister, Mr Purnendu Basu, has promised to look into the issue seriously.
