Tuticorin-based Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) opened its 234th branch at Chatrapatti in Virdhunagar district, on Thursday.
Mr A. Arumugam, Managing Director, Arumuga Group of Industries, Chatrapatti opened the new branch in the presence of Mr A.K. Jagannathan, Managing Director and CEO of the bank.
Mr S. Selvan Rajadurai, General Manager, Business Development, (HO), TMB, in a release said that Mr P. Ramaswamy Pannaiyar, President of Chatrapatti Small Handloom Cloth Manufacturing Association lit the traditional lamp.
Mr A. Balasubramanian, Managing Director, Nachiaar Spinning Mills Pvt Ltd, Chatrapatti, declared open the safe room of the branch.
Mr P.K. Vadamalaiyan, President of Krishnamma Rajapalayam Nadar Higher Secondary School, Rajapalayam, dedicated the 184th ATM of the bank to the public.
