Corporation Bank has bagged three awards instituted by the Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (CIMSME).
A press release by the bank said here on Friday that the bank received the ‘Best MSME Bank’ award (runner up), ‘CSR Initiatives and Business Responsibility’ award (winner), and ‘Best Bank for Promotional Schemes’ award (runner up) in the emerging category.
Jai Kumar Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Corporation Bank, received the awards from Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of State for MSME, in New Delhi on Friday.
The release said that the bank offers customised loan schemes to the needs of the sector through its 177 specialised MSME branches across the country. The bank has actively participated in the MUDRA and Stand-Up India programmes of the Government to support the MSME sector, it said.
