DBS Bank India has appointed Probal Banerjee as Head of Institutional Banking Group (IBG) for large corporates in Mumbai. Prior to this, Probal was heading the Bangalore branch of the foreign bank.
Deepak Pothan, currently Senior Relationship Manager, IBG in Bangalore, will take over from Probal as Head of the southern city’s branch.
The bank also gave additional responsibility to Sanjeev Lall, Head of Branches. Sanjeev will assume additional charge as Head of IBG. He will continue to operate from DBS Bank India’s head office in Mumbai.
Vivek Batra, Head of IBG, will move to the bank’s headquarters in Singapore and assume responsibility as Global Head of Sales for Transaction Banking.
