If you are a customer of Central Bank of India and have failed to operate your account for three months or more, the bank will soon be sending you a “we are missing you” text message.
The bank is looking to revive its burgeoning inoperative accounts and plans to send the SMS alerts in addition to embarking on a door-to-door campaign.
“It has been internally decided and tested, but not rolled out across all places yet,” Executive Director BK Divakara told BusinessLine .
Stating that the rollout would happen soon, he said the trial run has been successful..
