Karnataka Bank has announced the launch of a new term deposit scheme of 475 days. A press release said here that the 475-day term deposit scheme with rate of interest of 7.75 per cent is effective from February 16. The resident senior citizens are eligible for additional 0.50 per cent interest over the general rate. The effective rate for them is 8.25 per cent under the said scheme, it added.
