The Tata Group has announced the second edition of Tata First Dot powered by ‘NEN’ to support student entrepreneurship.
Five new cities — Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar – have been added this year which will now take the initiative to 15 cities, said Atul Agrawal, vice-president, corporate affairs, Tata Services.
K. Srikrishna, executive director, National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), said that the partnership would mentor, support and showcase even more student start-ups.
Regional workshops for the event began on Saturday from Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Indore and would then move to other cities.
These workshops are designed to help student entrepreneurs refine their business models, connect with peers, and interact with experts.
