Aircel launched its “The power of inspiration” series of lectures for the youth and also a student pack called “Bindas” in Gitam Centre for Gandhian Studies of Gitam University here on Tuesday.
Mohan Simham, circle marketing head, Andhra Pradesh, said that Aircel had organised the lecture series for the benefit of students.
He said Aircel had also inaugurated a product called Bindas specifically for students to be sold only in the educational institutions. With just Rs 50, it could be activated, with full talk time. Besides, for recharge of Rs 10, the student would get full talk time.
He said his company had always targeted the youth and that was why it had appointed Dhoni as the brand ambassador.
Tarun J. Tejpal, editor of Tehelka, spoke on the theme - “Fighting for Tehelka and the idea of India”. Sowmya Kidambi, Director of Society of Social Audit, Accountability and Transparency, explained to the students the fundamental of social audit - “the questioning voice of the downtrodden in an unequal society.”
