The State-wide strike by 65,000 government doctors and paramedical staff entered the seventh day on Sunday. The government has convened a meeting with them here tomorrow to arrive at a solution.
“The Health and Family Welfare Department has convened a meeting with us tomorrow to thrash out a solution to our demands,” secretary of Karnataka Medical Officers’ Association G.A. Srinivas told PTI.
Depending on its outcome, the agitating doctors and para medical staff would decide whether to continue their strike or not, he said.
Meanwhile, work across all government hospitals in the state was paralysed with a quite a number of a patients waiting outside hospitals.
