Over 150 Indian-origin doctors from North America, the UK and West Asia will meet in Kochi for a global health summit from the New Year Day.
The three-day meet is being organised annually by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.
Meanwhile, Thiruvananthapuram will host ‘Diamond Medcon 2012’, the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Trivandrum Medical College (TMC) Alumni Association on December 30 and 31.
“Most experts attending the Kochi event will be here for the jubilee celebrations,” said K.A. Kumar, president of TMC Alumni.
The medical college has not hosted an event featuring so many specialists from a wide variety of fields, he added.
