Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday released Annual credit plan for 2018-19, with an outlay of ₹1,94,220 crore.
The credit plan includes ₹1,44,220 crore for the priority sector and ₹50,000 crore for the non-priority sector.
Addressing the bankers on the occasion, Naidu said “Bankers should come forward to help the public in a big way. People were facing problems with banking sector after demonetisation. and they were not coming forward to deposit cash in banks with the prevailing confusion.” The State government had been facing problems to distribute money under NREGS due to shortage of cash in banks he added.
