Two journalists from BusinessLine won recognition at the 6th Annual Shriram Awards for Excellence in Financial Journalism.
SK Lokeshwarri, Associate Editor and Head of Research Bureau, BusinessLine , was runner up in the Financial Markets category, while Anand Kalyanaraman, Senior Assistant Editor, was runner up in the Economic Policy category.
The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday. R Thyagarajan, Founder, Shriram Group and S Gurumurthy, Editor, Thuglak , felicitated all the awardees.
The jury comprised AK Bhattacharya (Editorial Director, Business Standard ), Swaminathan S Aiyar (Consulting Editor, Economic Times ), TN Ninan (Chairman, Business Standard ), R Jagannathan (Editorial Director, Swarajya Magazine ), Gopal Srinivasan (Chairman & Managing Director — TVS Capital), Srinivasan K Swamy (Chairman & Managing Director, RK Swamy BBDO), Ashu Suyash (MD & CEO, Crisil) and Adit Jain (Chairman, IMA Asia), said a press release from the Shriram group.
