The Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) on Monday said it has been ranked 39th globally in The Economist full-time MBA Programmes Ranking 2013.
Thus, the premier business school has moved up from the 56th position last year in the top 100-B Schools’ list globally, IIM-A said in a statement here.
IIM-A is the only Indian B-school to get ranked in The Economist full-time MBA programmes ranking since the last four years. The Institute has made it to the 4th position in the Asia and Australasia 2013 regional rankings.
It is also ranked number one on the criteria like student quality, opening new career opportunities, percentage increase on pre-MBA salary, percentage in work three months after graduation and percentage who found jobs through the careers service.
