The Manipal-based TA Pai Institute of Management (TAPMI) has proposed to launch a two-year full-time post-graduate diploma in management programme in ‘Marketing and Sales Management’. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the urban format of TAPMI’s market research fair, ‘BrandScan’, in Bengaluru by Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director of TAPMI.
According to a press release, the proposed PGDM in ‘Marketing and Sales Management’, a residential programme, is targeted at people who work in sales and marketing. It aims to bridge the demand-supply gap in the market for a fully-loaded sales management programme, it said. However, the course is subject to AICTE approval.
Speaking at the inauguration, Veeraraghavan said that the idea of ‘BrandScan’ is to obtain unbiased and natural responses of customers through innovative data collection methods. The market research fair is fully committed to innovation and set to make a huge impact globally, he said.
