Digital identity and transaction management solutions provider eMudhra has partnered with Ghana-based Safety Insurance Brokers Limited (SIBL) to offer “Integrated Insurance” to enterprises in Africa.
eMudhra’s Integrated Insurance service is based on emSigner, which enables insurance companies go paperless. “This service will be catered to the insurance, banking and government institutions in Africa,” said Arvind Srinivasan, its Senior Vice President — Strategic Initiatives and Global Markets.
Mobile-first Africa
Stating that the company would be helping enterprises in Africa in not merely going digital but in ushering in the transformation in a secure way, he said, “mobile penetration in Africa is fairly good”. “We therefore hope to contribute towards a mobile-first Africa in a meaningful way,” he added.
“Most countries in Africa are aiming to go digital to reduce cost and increase mobility. We foresee this to be a high growth market in the coming years,” he said.
“We are striving to create one of the first integrated platforms in the region across hospitals, insurance providers, insurance sponsors and recipients to communicate and conduct transactions in a paperless manner for insurance claims. emSigner acts as a common link in connecting the hospital management system, insurance ERP and other systems,”he said.
