A Delhi court will today hear the case on the documents leak from the petroleum ministry, in which 13 persons, including five executives of corporate houses were charge-sheeted. All the accused are currently out on bail. The police allege that the officials leaked key documents to companies and gained favours.

Farmers in Punjab will today hold a State-level meeting to decide further action against the State government over their demands of compensation for damaged cotton crop due to a whitefly attack. They claimed a further course of action would be decided by leaders in the meeting.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the Tata Steel Kalinga Nagar integrated steel plant today. Tata Steel has invested ₹22,300 crore in the project. The plant would add 3 MTPA capacity in the first phase and a total 6 MTPA with completion of the second phase.
