The Press Information Bureau will hold a meeting between Cabinet ministers and top editors in Jaipur today and tomorrow. The event will discuss policies in the social sectors and infrastructure development in the country, and will strategise, seek views and suggestions from participants on the need for improvement in these sectors.

Bajaj Auto is set to launch ‘V’, a new bike today. It contains the metal from India’s first aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Sources say this is a 150 cc bike that will have the same engine as the Pulsar, and will come in more than one variant.

The BSE will change parameters for determining the classification of securities exclusively listed on its platform for three new sub-groups — XC, XD and XT. Based on market feedback, the stock exchange has decided that companies with a six-month average market capitalisation of ₹1,000 crore and over 5,000 public shareholders would be excluded from the sub-segments.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to resume from today his popular ‘janata durbar’ after a long break, to listen to people’s grievances. The ‘durbar’ was discontinued last year in view of the model code of conduct for the assembly polls.

Motorola will launch its new shatterproof smartphone Moto X Force in India today. The device will be unveiled on Amazon India. Moto X Force is an international variant of the Droid Turbo 2, whose main highlight is its ‘ShatterShiled’ display.
