IL&FS bids : The IL&FS Group will today receive the first set of bids under the asset monetisation process. The group is sitting on the debt of Rs 94,000 cr and had decided to sell its assets in its verticals including roads, education, renewable energy and broking.

CoA meeting : The Committee of Administrators will meet today in Mumbai to discuss on the ban of pacer S Sreesanth after the Supreme Court on March 15 asked BCCI to reconsider the life ban. The BCCI is also set to announce the complete schedule of the IPL 2019 during the meeting. Earlier, the Board had released the fixtures of 17 matches. The first match is set to begin from March 23 in Chennai between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in UP : Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will kickstart her campaign in Uttar Pradesh from Monday. She will be visiting several temples in Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Bhadohi and Varanasi during the three-day tour. She is likely to take the river route for her campaign.

India-Africa joint military training : India-Africa joint Field Training Exercise is set to begin from March 17 in Pune. The 10-day training session will take place between Indian Army and 16 African nations to train the contingents in Humanitarian Mine Assistance and Peace Keeping Oraganisations under the UN Charter.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 launch : Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest model Redmi 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro on Monday in Beijing. While the Redmi 7 will resemble Redmi Note 7 in design, the new launch will come with dual tone design and will run on Android 9 Pie. It is likely to come with two rear camera and is expected to be priced between Rs 7,000 and Rs 8,000.
