Jay Krishnan, former CEO of T-Hub, has joined SRI Capital as a Partner in its Indian entity.
Disclosing this to newspersons at a press conference here, Sashi Reddy, founder & Managing Director, SRI Capital, said, “Krishnan’s vast experience in the start-up space and proven track record as an entrepreneur makes him a clear representative of the values SRI Capital brings to the table.”
Krishnana said there was significant untapped potential in Indian ecosystem for growth and investments.
SRI Capital, a US venture captial firm, has been focussing on tech opportunities in the US and India. It launched its maiden $100-million fund, SRI Capital Fund-I, to invest in early tech start-ups in 2018.
“We are in the process of investing about $6 million in three funds, the details which will be announced in due course,” Reddy said. SRI Capital Fund-I has so far made investments in IndianMoney, LetsMD, Sports Flashes, Foyr and Fakespot.
