KEC International, an RPG Group Company, has won orders worth ₹1,010 crore, secured evenly from the global market and the domestic sector.
With these orders, the company’s overall order book has gone up to ₹18,000 crore, with 70 per cent of it coming from Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and 26 per cent from the Railways.
The remaining 4 per cent comes from other Strategic Business Units (SBUs), including civil, solar and cable businesses, the company said in a statement.
KEC International is a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company.
“With the new orders in solar, we are witnessing a gradual revival in the business outlook of the industry,” said Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO of KEC International. Of the ₹1,010 crore, the company’s T&D business secured turnkey orders worth ₹491 crore across India, West Asia and the Americas.
While the cables business secured orders worth ₹250 crore, the company’s solar business won a ₹195-crore order from private players in India.
Under the civil business, it won a ₹74-crore order for civil and structural works from a leading automobile and cement company.
