The Chairman and Managing Director of the Manjeera Group of Hyderabad, G Yoganand, has been given the BJP ticket to contest from Serilingampally constituency in Hyderabad.
An engineering graduate from Osmania University and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Sciences, Yoganand’s name figures in the second list of 28 candidates released by the party here.
The Manjeera Group is into realty and hospitality sector, and has developed several projects — both residential and commercial.
The BJP is contesting in all the 119 constituencies in the Telangana Assembly polls and had come out with the first list of 38 candidates two weeks ago.
