MyDentistChoice, an e-commerce start-up engaged in sale of dental and healthcare products for medical professionals, has received ₹3.5 crore ($0.5 million) funding from some US-based investors.
Announcing this at a press conference here, its CEO Sivaprasad Pinnapurala said the company had set up a manufacturing plant for selling its own branded equipment to dental doctors at Manikonda here. It is now supplying dental equipment of about 100 different brands.
“As we now got this funding, our operations will be expanded to North America, among other places,’’ he said, adding that the portal now had over 6,000 customers, including 1,000 abroad. The three-year-old Hyderabad-based start-up had ₹2.5 crore turnover last year and is expecting to clock ₹4 crore in the current financial year.
