National HRD Network appoints new president

National HRD Network (NHRDN), the national apex body of HR professionals, has announced the appointment of K Ramkumar as its new national president with immediate effect.

He succeeds Rajeev Dubey, Group President - HR & Corporate Services, & CEO, After Market, and Member of the Group Executive Board, Mahindra & Mahindra.

“Ramkumar will lead the organisation’s mission by working with a highly experienced and dedicated team of senior officials thus building the HR ethos and managerial excellence in India,” a statement by NHRDN said.

K Ramkumar is an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank and the President of ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth. Prior to joining ICICI Bank in 2001, Ramkumar served in companies such as Hindustan Aeronautics, Brooke Bond Lipton India (now Hindustan Unilever) and ICI India in the areas of Human Resources Management and Manufacturing.
