Wholehearted commitment by employees towards the organisation is essential for a successful career, according to M Narendra, Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Overseas Bank .
He said this while inaugurating a three-day management development programme for the managers of Indian Overseas Bank at Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance in Mangalore on Monday.
A press statement by the institute said here that Narendra stressed the importance of exposure to external environment and the need of leadership skills in this competitive age. The officers should identify themselves with the organisation goals and work in tandem to achieve them, he said. NK Thingalaya, former Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank, who presided over the function, lauded the contribution of Dakshina Kannada district to banking industry. MS Moodithaya, Registrar of Nitte University, welcomed the gathering.
