Biological E Ltd will be supplying it's five-in-one pentavalent vaccine as part of Govt immunisation programme in Telangana.

The vaccine, which was administered in more than 100 million doses to children across the world so far, was formally launched for free supply to children as part of the national immunisation programme by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahima Datla, Managing Director; BE Ltd said thousands of children in Telangana were exposed to the risk of deadly diseases which could be prevented by vaccines.
"Inclusion this pentavalent vaccine into our national immunisation programme in our home state is a pound moment for us as we have supply to the world due to World Health Organisation Pre-qualification to do so," she said.
Pentavalent
Pentavalent is a liquid vaccine that provides protection to children from six weeks of age from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B and meningitis and pneumonia caused by Hib.
Over three lakh cases of children impacted by Hib are reported every year out of which about 70,000 may face fatal consequences, she added.
