Prerana, the CSR wing of Infosys in Mangalore, sponsored ₹13.72 lakh to provide scholarships to students pursuing professional courses. A press release by the Mangalore development centre of the company said a programme was organised to provide scholarships of ₹19.71 lakh to 456 students pursuing professional courses in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts in Karnataka and Kasaragod district in Kerala. Prerana contributed ₹13.72 lakh, and the rest by Dhrithi Foundation and Supraja Foundation, a release said.
