Power generation at the 500 MW Kakatiya thermal power project has been impacted due to technical snag in the power plant system.
Efforts are now underway to restore power generation at the station managed by Telangana Generation Corporation.
It is hoped that the restoration process will be completed by late tonight, according to sources.
