The Telangana Junior Doctors' Association (TJUDA) has called of its strike, ending the two-month-long protest.
The junior doctors have been demanding to remove the mandatory rural service clause. The Government, however, took a hard stand on the issue and refused to budge on this clause, while agreeing to meet other demands like filling up posts in public hospitals.
The strike had severely impacted the healthcare delivery services in the 10 districts of the State.
The High Court too took the issue seriously and had asked the junior doctors to withdraw the strike and join duty.
