The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday carried out searches at 20 places in connection with its probe in the chit-fund scam against a company, Angel Agritech.
According to a CBI spokesperson, searches were carried out in 18 places across three States of West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. Searches were carried out in 16 places in West Bengal, one place in Jharkhand and another one in Odisha.
Searches were carried out at the official premises and residences of the managing director, and directors of the company - S K Najibulla, Hasibul Haque, Sunirmal Goswami, Arindam Pal, Basudev Ghosh, Falguni Chatterjee.
