Vodafone’s tax demand case will come up for hearing at the Delhi High Court. Earlier, this month, the Vodafone Group had told the court that it is not submitting to the jurisdiction of the courts here regarding the arbitration process initiated by it against India in connection with a tax demand of ₹11,000 crore.

Kenya will hold Presidential elections afresh today. The country’s Supreme Court annulled an August ballot, in which by President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner over Odinga, due to procedural irregularities. A plea to delay the elections went unheard in Kenya’s highest court.
