Customs officials seized foreign currencies worth ₹7.54 lakh at Mangalore Airport on Sunday evening.
A press release by the department said here on Monday that foreign currencies such as Saudi riyals, UAE dirhams, Kuwaiti dinars, Qatari and Omani riyal, Bahraini dinars and US dollars in various denominations were seized from a passenger, Abdul Kader Perumbala of Kasaragod in Kerala, while trying to board a flight to Dubai on Sunday evening.
