HMT Ltd, a public sector enterprise, has established a Heritage Centre and Museum at Jalahalli here to showcase the history of the company’s growth and product technology over the years.
The museum is located in a scenic plot of around four acres in HMT Township, Jalahalli. It was opened on Friday. The Heritage Centre and Museum will be a knowledge centre.
The Centre is designed to cater to the interests of all segments of society, including the young and the old, students and their teachers, collectors of HMT Watches and the technically inclined.
The museum also has facilities such as children’s park, cafeteria, tractor joyride, technical information centre, souvenir shop etc.
The museum will be open between 10 am and 5 pm throughout the week except on Tuesdays and national holidays.
