US-based market intelligence solutions firm InsideView will invest $25 million on its India expansion. The firm, which has 300 employees globally, would hire 40 more data scientists in India this year to take the total employees here to 240 in Hyderabad. The firm employs the remaining 100 employees in its San Francisco and Austin (both US) centres.

InsideView had raised $32.5 million in the last quarter, taking the total funding to over $80 million.

“We are going to spread the investments in India in the next three years,” InsideView Managing Director (India Operations), has said.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said the firm would focus on tapping the India opportunity. “We are going to utilise the funds on sales and development,” he said.

The company, however, refused to share the revenue figures.
