Due to a line block in connection with engineering work between Minjur – Attipattu – Ennore in the Gummidipoondi – Moore Market Complex (MMC) section, the Southern Railway has announced a new schedule of train services for two weeks.
For seven days from November 1-15 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, following will be the pattern of train services.
Train No. 42408 Sullurupetta – MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Sullurupetta at 11.10 hrs is cancelled.
Train No.42413 MMC - Sullurupetta EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 12.40 hrs is cancelled.
Train Nos. 42013, 42015, 42017, 42019, MMC – Gummidipoondi EMU locals are to be run on the third line between Tiruvottiyur and Ennore and are to be partially cancelled between Ennore and Gummidipoondi.
Train Nos 42020, 42022, 42024, 42026, Gummidipoondi - MMC EMU locals are to be run on the third line between Tiruvottiyur and Ennore and are to be partially cancelled between Gummidipoondi and Ennore.
Train No 57240 Bitragunta – Chennai Central Passenger will be partially cancelled between Gummidipoondi and Chennai Central.
Train No 57239 Chennai Central – Gudur passenger will be partially cancelled between Chennai Central and Gummidipoondi.
Train No.12712 Chennai Central – Vijayawada Pinakini express will leave Chennai Central late by 45 minutes.
To clear waiting lists
To clear heavy waiting list, the following trains will be permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier, 1 Sleeper Class.
Train No16723 Chennai Egmore – Thiruvananthapuram Ananthapuri Express from Chennai from November 15.
Train No.16724 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express from Thiruvananthapuram November 16, said a Southern Railway press release.
