The Minister of State (Independent Charge) Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan urged ONGC officers to think differently to arrest the decline in production.
“The traditional way of thinking will not help make a turnaround of this asset,” said Pradhan after visiting the Assam Asset of ONGC.
Pradhan visited the Geleky Dirll site EV 2000 5 and the GelekyGGS-I. GelekyGGS-I was constructed in 1968 and producing over 1,000 tonne of crude oil a day.
The Minister also reviewed the overall performance of the ONGC Assam Asset in the late evening of April 15 to ascertain as to what should be done in order to increase the production of this one of the oldest Assets of ONGC.
