The Rajasthan government is offering incentives to investors as part of its programme to bring more industries to the State.
``We are offering businesses a host of incentives in registration, electricity, stamp duty, and land conversion, among others,’’ Yoonus Khan, Minister for PWD & Transport, Rajasthan, told newspersons on the sidelines of a road show held here on Tuesday on `Resurgent Rajasthan’, a partnership summit to be organised in Jaipur during Nov 19-20, 2015.
While stating that Rajasthan had put in place exclusive policies for tourism, minerals and other important industries, he said there was `huge’ potential for investment in areas such as solar energy, cement industry, tourism, power generation, automobiles, education and roads.
When asked whether there were any specific targets for attracting investments, Khan said the focus of the Government was more on executing industry-friendly policies rather than being driven by numbers or targets.
Earlier, the minister participated in an interactive session with industrialists from the State, organised jointly with the Confederation of Indian Industry.
