The Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao reviewed the preparations made by the State government ahead of the visit of the high-level technical committee on Cauvery water issue.
According to a press release from the Raj Bhavan, the Governor had requested the meeting with the Finance Minister O Panneerselvam; Public Works Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami; and the Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao.
The Governor enquired about the arrangements for the visit and information to be presented to the technical committee constituted by the Union Water Resources Ministry on the order of the Supreme Court. Palaniswami explained in detail the arrangements, the release said.
The Governor also enquired about the health condition of the Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa (She has been in hospital since September 22) and the general administration, the release said.
The Chief Secretary briefed the Governor on the administration and other general matters, according to the release.
