TS Genco, the power generation company of Telangana, is all set to conduct a written test for 850 posts of Assistant Engineers.

In a statement issued by P Ratnakar, Chief General Manager, TS Genco, this notification covers 419 electrical engineers, 195 mechanical engineers, 70 electronics and 172 civil engineers. The TS Genco has entrusted the task of conducting the written examination to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

According to the applications made thus far, 1,09,907 candidates who have applied for the examination have been declared eligible to take the test to be held at JNTUH, Kukatpally.

The candidates will be selected based on merit marks secured in the written examination, duly following the rule of reservation and the rules and regulations of TS Genco.

The candidates competing for the post of Assistant Engineers have been warned not to fall prey to assurances made by some vested interest assuring their employment.
