Chhattisgarh Housing Board has received ISO 9001 certificate for high standard of quality in housing projects in the state.
“Chhattisgarh housing board has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate for effective implementation of housing projects under several schemes and maintaining high standard of quality. The certification is valid for three years till January 31, 2015,” Sonmani Borah, Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Housing Board said today.
The state housing board had earlier bagged several awards including the prestigious EPC World Awards 2012 for affordable housing projects.
The board has succeeded in realising every individual’s dream of having a home by providing quality houses at affordable rates, he said.
Besides, the basic facilities including, roads, drinking water, power supply and others were also being provided at project sites, he said.
The board has now initiated online allocation process to bring transparency in the allotment of houses under several schemes, he said.
Meanwhile, the board has launched Atal Vihar Yojana to construct 100,000 houses in all the districts of the state.
The project, to be completed in three years is expected to cost Rs 11,000 crore.
