The Indian Staffing Federation (ISF), which provides flexi staffing, has been designated the premier partner to offer formal jobs to Indian youth through the soon-to-be-launched National Career Counselling portal.
An initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment under the National Career Service (NCS) project, ISF has been supporting the initiative as a partner since its inception through structured inputs, flow decks and jobs data over the last one year.
Under this initiative, the Ministry will transform all Government-run employment exchanges and bring them under a national web portal, which will act as a one-stop platform for both job seekers and job providers.
ISF members, chosen to be part of the federation, have been given ‘direct and exclusive access’ to the portal, the company said in a statement. Currently ISF members employ 500,000 workers annually. In the first phase, the Government plans to modernise and transform 100 of the 982 employment exchanges in the country.
