Manipal-based TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) has received accreditation of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for a period of three years. It has received the AMBA accreditation for all its three PGDM programmes — PGDM, PGDM-BKFS (Banking and Financial Services) and PGDM-HR (Human Resources).
Quoting Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director of TAPMI, a press release said here that the recognition is a testimony to the tireless efforts of TAPMI’s faculty to provide a cutting-edge curriculum and a stimulating student-centred environment. “This pursuit of excellence, coupled with the success of our students, inspires us to work towards greater heights and remain ahead of the curve,” he said.
AMBA accredits programmes from only the top 2 per cent of business schools across 70 countries. In India, only 12 institutions have received this mark of excellence, he said.
Simon George, Dean (Academics) of TAPMI, said AMBA accreditation is a validation of TAPMI’s quality and rigour in designing and delivering the courses. “To us, it is a milestone in our journey of continuous improvement. As a member of the best schools globally, we will have an opportunity to benchmark and raise our standards,” he said.
