The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) will organise a two-month TYE Virtual, an entrepreneurship programme to encourage students to start up early. Though it is the 11th edition of the TiE Young Entrepreneurs programme, the TYE Virtual is the maiden programme that is being offered over the Internet.
The maiden programme has caught the attention of about 200 students.
“They will be mentored by the members of TiE’s Hyderabad chapter,” Sridhar Reddy, President, TiE Hyderabad, has said.
Andrew Fleming, The British Deputy High Commissioner of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, was present at the inaugural session.
In the last 10 years, TYE has trained over 500 students in 10 sessions.
The programme will introduce concepts such as sales, marketing, finance, business modelling tools, design thinking and rapid prototyping.
