Actor Michael Keaton is in talks to reprise his role as Batman in the upcoming superhero movie The Flash by Warner Bros. and DC Comics, according to reports.

Michael Keaton, who starred as Dark Knight in the Tim Burton-directed Batman movies, is mulling the possibility of returning as the Caped Crusader in The Flash, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It is likely that Keaton could also reprise the role in various other DC films, the report said.

Ezra Miller is set to return as the Flash in the film, after Justice League. The role of the Batman was played by Ben Affleck in the Justice League.

Keaton had played the role of the superhero in Tim Burton’s Batman released in 1989. He had then returned as the Dark Knight in the 1992 sequel, Batman Returns.

Another Batman movie in production by Matt Reeves stars actor Robert Pattinson in the title role. It is currently being looked at as a separate film from Flash and other DC Universe movies, as per reports.

After delays from Warner Bros owing to the coronavirus pandemic, The Flash will now be released on June 3, 2022, reports said. Whether Keaton will return as the Caped Crusader is yet to be decided.
