WeHub, an exclusive incubator for women entrepreneurs, has announced an Industry-disruptor challenge for Indian design professionals and entities, offering global exposure in fashion designing and incubation.
The Hyderabad-based incubator has collaborated with European Union-UN Women programme to organise this challenge.
“The challenge will help enterprises scale and co-create products with leading fashion enterprises. It will also give them access to international supply chains,” Deepthi Ravula, Chief Executive Officer of WeHub, has said.
WeHub will work with The Do School to design the curriculum for the three-month programme. Calling for applications for the programme, WeHub said it will shortlist 20 candidates for the programme.
The programme will cover business development strategy, market access, mentorship and access to WeHub’s ecosystem. The last date for submitting applications is June 21, 2020.
Women-led enterprises or entities with women as majority in the team or of female-led or owned or firms with a product or service that benefits women are eligible to apply.
“They should have a viable solution in the market and ready to scale. They should operate in a fashion-related field or the broader retail industry,” she said.
Besides getting online support, the start-ups will get access to the UN Women network.
