Start-up incubator Y Combinator has invested $ 120,000 in ZiffyHomes – a Gurgaon-based home rental service start-up. Currently, ZiffyHomes is part of YC’s summer cohort 2018.
Due to rise in income, increased exposure to global housing standards and frequent movement across cities, there has been an increase in demand from Indian rental consumers for good amenities, quality interiors, well-connected and respectable societies.
Earlier, ZiffyHomes had also acquired FellaHomes and Nivassa Rental.
“This is a perfect opportunity for us that is helping us enhance our business model and providing an effective vision to think from the perspective of adding value to customer experience,” said Sanchal Ranjan, Co-Founder, ZiffyHomes.
Launched in May 2015, the company relies on technology to handhold both landlords and tenants from searching for properties to closing the tenancy contracts.
